Dr. Charles Knife Chief Named Medical Director

A new medical director, Dr. Charles Knife Chief, has been named the newest member of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma health care management team.

Knife Chief is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He has nearly 25 years practicing medicine and most recently served as an OB/GYN for Associated Women’s Specialists in Tulsa.

Knife Chief holds an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Utah, and a medical degree from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Association of American Indian Physicians.

Knife Chief lives in Tulsa with his wife, Kimberly. The Knife Chiefs have five grown children, Heather, Andrew, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hayley, and daughter, Kelly, deceased.
