OKC Health Festival Offers Free Indoor Wellness Activities

Oklahoma City, OK — Join Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) at the 2012 Bart & Nadia Sports and Health Festival on February 11 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City. This indoor event will include vendors from across the state, promoting fun health and wellness activities for all ages.

  • Stop by the BCBSOK booth and enter to win a Garmin 610 training watch. Then stick around for a dynamic presentation with World Champion Rope Jumper Peter Nestler at 3 p.m.
  • Don't forget to register for the Runderground 5k! Runners will follow an underground track below downtown Oklahoma City. The course ends near the Festival, so you can run and the have fun. Participation is limited, so register today !
  • Children will have the opportunity to participate in 10 wellness activities, including a BCBSOK Kayak Adventure. Other activities include rowing, biking, gymnastics, volleyball, hockey, basketball, archery, power lifting and running.
  • Discounted parking is available for $1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m in the parking garage underneath the Cox Convention Center. Entrances to the garage are on Robinson Avenue or E.K. Gaylord.
