Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Dual Care Plus has contracts with pharmacies nationwide that equal or exceed the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requirements for pharmacy access. To receive benefits, you must use network pharmacies or our home delivery pharmacy service, except in emergencies.

Home Delivery

In addition to in-network pharmacies, you can use one of our home delivery pharmacies and have your medications delivered straight to your home. Our home delivery pharmacies offer:

  • Three ways to order refills: online, by phone or through the mail 

  • Up to a 90-day supply of medications at one time

  • Choice of notification by text message, email or phone when your order is received and when your prescriptions are mailed

  • Free standard shipping any place in the U.S. and automatic refills 

To get started, please call one of our home delivery pharmacies:   

1 Walgreens Mail Service, a central specialty and home delivery pharmacy, is contracted to provide mail pharmacy services to members of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.. 

2 Express Scripts® Pharmacy is a pharmacy that is contracted to provide mail pharmacy services to members of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma. Express Scripts® Pharmacy is a trademark of Express Scripts Strategic Development, Inc.

3 Amazon Pharmacy is contracted to provide pharmacy home delivery services to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma.

Out-of-Network Pharmacies

Covered drugs are available at out-of-network pharmacies in emergencies or unusual circumstances and for non-routine access to covered Part D drugs (for example, illness while traveling outside the plan’s service area where there is no network pharmacy). For more information on these special circumstances for out-of-network coverage and/or what pharmacies may be available to you, please contact us.

Prescription Drug Search

Drugs covered by Blue Cross Medicare Advantage are listed in formularies (drug lists). Each plan has its own drug list. The lists include generic and brand name drugs. They also have information about limitations such as prior authorization, quantity limit, and step therapy. 

Drug lists can change. Most of the changes in the drug list are new for the beginning of each year. However, during the year, we might make other changes that are allowed by Medicare rules. We will provide you with advance notice of these changes.

Finding out if your prescription is covered is easy with our Drug Finder tool . It’s updated regularly, so you can find the most up-to-date list of drugs covered by each plan. You will also receive a printed formulary in your welcome kit.
