The Oklahoma Caring Foundation's Caring Van Program is working with the Tulsa Health Department to hold mobile clinics that bring COVID-19 vaccines to Oklahomans who may face barriers to getting them. At an event in March, more than 200 people were vaccinated at a clinic at The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges.
"We’re serving folks in wheelchairs, we're serving folks that have difficulty navigating or traversing areas," said Wendi Fralik, the center's executive director. "We're providing a space that meets their individual physical challenges to ensure that we're making it as easy as possible for them to get this vaccine."
