Evelyn Cardona, a Caring Van Program specialist, dedicated more than 75 hours in 2020 to nonprofit organizations in the Oklahoma City area, including EmpowerOKC and the Oklahoma City Police Department's Citizen Advisory Board. "One of the reasons why Evelyn has been such a shining star as a volunteer this year is because she really understands the needs of the community," says Amy Pulliam, manager of the Oklahoma Caring Foundation.
