Oklahoma Insurance Department and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Launch Provider Directory Pilot Program

March 27, 2025

The Oklahoma Insurance Department and CMS announced the April 2025 launch of a centralized provider directory pilot program for those in a Qualified Health Plan.

The project establishes a statewide directory that allows QHPs and providers to review and update prepopulated information. CMS is piloting the directory with the state of Oklahoma to help inform future efforts toward a National Directory of Healthcare.

CMS will engage volunteers to test the portal prior to launch. When the portal goes live in April, participating providers or their delegates will be asked to:

  • Log in to the portal, validate their prepopulated information and correct inaccuracies in their records
  • Promptly update directory information consistent with federal and state guidelines
  • Optionally provide feedback to CMS on their experiences using the portal

If you have interest in participating in portal testing or have questions about the pilot project and next steps, contact the provider directory pilot team.
