You may have recently received payment through QuicRemit, a virtual commercial MasterCard®.
Why did I get this card? Some of our accounts, including Oklahoma City Firefighters (group: OK671203), have a unique first-dollar benefit program with a health care account that covers a portion of the member cost share. Luminare Health®, a subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, administers this program.
For members with these accounts, the covered portion of the member cost share is sent to you through the virtual MasterCard® from ECHO Health, Inc. and mailed to your billing address. The mailing includes a summary of payments available on the card.
What do I do with the virtual card? Follow the instructions that accompany the payment summary. You’ll use your merchant terminal to process the payment. No enrollment or bank routing information is needed. Standard MasterCard® transaction fees may apply.
If you don’t want to use the virtual card and prefer a check, or if you have a specific question about QuicRemit, call their customer service at 888-232-2295.
Your reimbursement timeline:
- Funds are available immediately upon receiving the virtual card and processing the payment
- If you don’t process your QuicRemit payment within 31 days, your electronic payment will be resent to you.
- If you don’t process this payment within 61 days after first receiving the virtual card, a paper check will be issued to you.
- If you don’t cash the check within 180 days of receiving a paper check, the payment expires.
