Using Your Pharmacies

When you have prescription and pharmacy benefits through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, there are multiple ways to get your prescriptions. It starts with your pharmacy network that includes nationwide drugstores, grocery store chains and locally-owned drugstores. Prices you pay for drugs at network pharmacies will be less than those at other pharmacies.

Find a Pharmacy

We use Prime Therapeutics as our pharmacy benefit manager. If your plan includes prescription drug coverage through Prime, search in your member account for a personalized list of in-network pharmacies.

Prefer searching as a guest? To get accurate results, you may need key info before searching as a guest on Prime's member website, MyPrime.com.

Ways to Access Your Prescriptions

If you have prescription and pharmacy benefits with BCBSOK, you have multiple ways to get the medications you need. There are different types of pharmacies in your network. They include national retail chains, local neighborhood drugstores, and independent and specialty pharmacies. You can even have some medications shipped to your home for free.

Retail Pharmacies

Retail pharmacies are often national chain pharmacies. They may be in stand-alone buildings or part of a grocery store. They can include regional and local pharmacies too.

Preferred Pharmacy Network

Did you know that if your BCBSOK plan has a Preferred Pharmacy Network, you can save money when you use a contracted preferred pharmacy? In fact, you may pay as little as $0. 

By using a preferred pharmacy, you may pay the lowest copay or coinsurance amount. Need a 90-day supply of a non-specialty covered drug? Just visit any preferred retail pharmacy in the Preferred Pharmacy Network.

Log in to your member account, click on the Pharmacy tab and search for an in-network pharmacy near you.
