New Cardiometabolic Health Management Program Coming in 2026

What is KeepWell (Vida Health)?

KeepWell™ (Vida) is a cardiometabolic health management program that utilizes lifestyle and nutritional health coaching along with medication to achieve sustainable weight loss. The solution is designed to improve health outcomes and lower the total cost of care.

How does it work?

KeepWell (Vida) helps members work toward their health goals which may include losing weight, reducing stress, eating better and staying healthy. The program encourages members to take an active role in their health journey.

Powered by Vida Health, the program provides support for:

  • Diabetes prevention
  • A1C reduction
  • Virtual care
  • Sustainable weight loss
  • Prescribing and managing weight loss medication
    • Two program options are available for weight loss medications. The Lock In Network where Vida providers are the sole prescribers for coverage and the Preferred Provider Network where Vida providers are optional prescribers.
    • Vida prescribers can prescribe both GLP-1 weight loss and non-GLP-1/traditional weight loss medications based on member needs and program specific criteria.

KeepWell (Vida) is available Jan. 1, 2026, for self-funded groups with Prime Therapeutics® as the pharmacy benefit manager. There are three distinct programs across the cardiometabolic spectrum to select from:

  • Preventive Care
  • Clinical Obesity Management
  • Clinical Obesity Management+

Groups can choose one or up to all three programs. KeepWell (Vida) demonstrates commitment to these programs by putting 100% of their fees at risk across multiple measures including financial impact, clinical outcomes and member experience.

KeepWell (Vida) focuses on delivering the right clinical intervention at the right time. Through integration with Prime, these clinical interventions are also synced with prescription drug benefits (e.g., drug list coverage and prior authorization criteria) and offer price protection.
